“Since the concert promoter failed to fulfill his agreements including paying us the money this makes it impossible for us to play the Metalfest. We are on tour in Croatia at the moment and we would also have additional costs to get ourselves to England and we just received a SMS message from the promoter where it said he won’t be able to pay us.

This means that we as a band would lose even more money since we will have overweight for luggage and having to rent vans for airports. The promoter apologized to us in a new SMS – BUT nothing and noone are more sad than us for having to betray our UK fans… IF there are any fans that want to come to any of our other shows we will help you out with tickets to the show and maybe even arrange a meet and greet, all to ease your losses maybe a bit. Those of you who can do that can e-mail us at evergreyfans@gmail.com for more details. Once again Evergrey are sending their apologies but it’s out of our hands.

This concert promoter (MARK OWEN) had hired the club for the festival weekend and is solely responsible for what happened – the club JBS Dudley has nothing to do with the cancellation and we would be happy to play at JBS Dudley one day.”

This is a chance for Evergrey and their most dedicated fans to get to meet each other. The only thing you’ll have to do is to send in your application which could consist of: Artwork, personal story, Youtube clip, a memory, tattoo – whatever you feel best represents your dedication to Evergrey. So needless to say it has to be “Evergrey-related”.

The members of the band will go through the applications and choose 2 fans for each city/venue/show who will get:

• Free tickets to the show

• A bag of merchandise

• A chance to get inside the tourbus (this is where its able to park the bus outside the venue) and of course meet all the members and get whatever you see fit signed.

This is very important: mark your application with the name of the city in the e-mail “Subject” field and don’t forget to leave your correct e-mail address where you can be reached.

ALL these dates are confirmed by us and if nothing extraordinary happens (even if luck lately has not been on our side) they will all go on as planned. So run, crawl or do whatever you see fit in order to get your tickets before the promoters get cold feet

The brand new video for the song “Broken Wings” will debut on Headbanger’s Blog this Thursday (Oct. 9th), and will make its TV premiere on Headbanger’s Ball this Saturday night (Oct. 11th). Make sure to check out both the Headbanger’s Blog and then tune in to the TV broadcast this week and show your support for the Evergrey (as you always do, thank you!).
